Lawn Service

J&J Lawn Care lawn mowing service is done weekly or biweekly throughout the season. You will be contacted in the spring to renew your service. J&J Lawn Care lawn mowing service includes lawn mowing, trimming and blowing.  Grass areas in the front, back, and sides of your yard will be mowed in different directions in order to avoid any lines in your lawn. Your grass will be cut with mulching blades. Clippings are left on the lawn to help create nutrients for the ground to produce healthier grass. Grass will look better with weekly mowings until about July, depending on weather. Grass or weeds growing inside of beds will not be cut unless requested and will incur an additional fee. Trimming is done around beds, fences, sidewalks, driveways and trees. J&J Lawn Care makes sure to blow clippings from sidewalks and driveways once the service has been completed.

Assigned Lawn Service Day

J&J Lawn Care schedules lawn services Monday through Saturday within designated areas each day of the week, ensuring that each customer is assigned a specific service day throughout the season. Although we assign a specific mowing day, the time of your service may vary from week to week. J&J Lawn Care will assign the same mowing professional to come to your property every week.

Gates and Pets

We prefer that all your pets be kept indoors and all gates unlocked on your mowing day. Please be aware that if you do not unlock your gate on your scheduled day of service, we will not be back out to mow the gated area until your next service day as this interrupts our schedule. If you have a unique situation with a pet or gate please let us know, and we will accommodate you. Our crews are very careful about closing gates before they leave, but we do not guarantee that a pet will not escape from the yard, therefore, you accept our service with this provision. J&J Lawn Care is not responsible for lost or injured pets.

Items in the Yard

We ask all customers to please pick up all small items such as toys, hoses, pet waste, and other items in the yard before our technicians arrive each week. J&J Lawn Care is not responsible for damage to exposed sprinkler lines, other lines, cable, dog fence lines, and other items unless the client informs us first of their existence. J&J Lawn Care is not responsible for removing these items and if seen will be mowed around which will cause patches in lawn. Pet waste that is not removed prior to our lawn technicians arrival will incur a $20 fee per visit, this is charged as a cleaning fee as our technician will have to clean the equipment so we do not track pet waste to other clients properties. Large items such as lawn furniture and trampolines will be trimmed around.
If dog feces left to long In the yard can leave brown spots that can be costly to repair Not only that dog feces kills grass and spread bacteria’s through your lawn that can cause parasites which if the kids want to run around barefoot in the yard to play can track back into our homes


On weeks when a national holiday falls Monday thru Friday, we will adjust the rest of the week’s schedule by one day so that we can service all remaining lawns the day after their scheduled day.

Skipping A Week of Mowing

Client’s mowing rate is based on weekly or biweekly mowing. J&J Lawn Care does not offer every 3 weeks or monthly mowing. In extreme circumstances, the Client may contact J&J Lawn Care to request skipping service for a particular week. This can be done with a minimum of a twenty-four (24) hour advance notice prior to the Client’s scheduled mowing. A service charge may apply in the amount of $10 but are normally waved if skipping is not frequent and/or lawn is too dry to cut due to weather. Please note that our crew does not make the decision of whether or not your yard needs mowing, so you will need to contact us to skip a scheduled mowing. In order for a requested skip to take affect, you must contact us by 5pm EST the day before your scheduled mowing. Service will be resumed the following week. If mowing is skipped per client request and your grass is taller than normal a high grass fee may apply.

Satisfaction Guarantee

All services shall be performed by qualified, experienced, trained personnel using practices and methods recognized as accepted standards in the lawn care industry. If the Client has any specific needs or issues with J&J Lawn Care that arise during the season, please contact J&J Lawn Care immediately so that these needs can be addressed. You may cancel your service with us with a two weeks notice, for any reason, without a cancellation fee. If you cancel service without a two week notice, a cancellation fee will apply which will be 50% of your lawn service for one week. Example if your mows are $50, a $25 fee will apply.


We always try to finish our routes, even on semi rainy days. If we are unable to complete your service due to a heavy rain fall, we will adjust the rest of the week’s schedule by one day so that we can service all remaining lawns the day after their scheduled day. To avoid excessively long grass, we recommend allowing us to mow even when the lawn is a little wet. If the lawn is too wet we will not mow.


For your convenience billing will be done at the client’s discretion. We offer monthly billing, which receive a 10% discount however monthly service fees are due at the beginning of each month. Pay per service, which is due after each mowing. All billing will be completed electronically unless you request paper billing. Payments are due within 48 hours of service. If payment is not received in a timely manner a $5 late fee will be imposed unless just arrangements are made with our office manager.


If you are a new client and pay a deposit for a service, it is NON REFUNDABLE. Deposits are required to secure appointments. No deposit = no service.
